bruges waffles and frites

waffles might be my favorite breakfast food ever. of course there's bacon, hash browns, poached eggs, biscuits, pancakes, crepes, and the occasional bowl of honey bunches of oats, but in the end, i'd choose waffles. naturally, bruges was the place for me.

bruges is belgian style waffles and fries. i'd describe a belgian waffle as tender, crispy, and flavorful. though they may be small, they fill you up quite quickly. since it would be nearly impossible to eat more than one, i had my friends help me out. here's what they had to say:

--chicken tenders and frites--

"bruges food truck is a great option for a simple meal. mine [was] the chicken tenders and frites (fries), very much being my favorite choice there. [there's] an option of two sauces for your fries and chicken tenders. those chicken tenders were very crispy, and no one could keep their hands off the delicious fries!" -S.B.

it's true. everyone in the group was snacking on those fries. try them and you will know why.

how can you not want to devour a waffle with marshmallows, chocolate sauce, vanilla bean ice cream, and cookie butter?
